Renee Morgan, MD Director, Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program

Dr. Renee Morgan is a board-certified adolescent medicine specialist and serves as the director of the adolescent medicine fellowship program at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. Dr. Morgan completed a residency in pediatrics at the same institution, followed by a fellowship in adolescent medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Morgan then relocated to the Unites States where she completed a second residency in pediatrics at the University of Illinois/Children's Hospital University of Illinois (CHUI) in Chicago, followed by a fellowship in adolescent medicine at the same institution. Her clinical interests include adolescent reproductive health (including contraception and menstrual concerns) and eating disorders.

Dr. Morgan is board certified in general pediatrics and adolescent medicine. She is member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Academy for Eating Disorders, International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals, North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, International Association for Adolescent Health, and Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine. Dr. Morgan is also a board member of the Caribbean Association of Adolescent Health. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented at various medical conferences. Dr. Morgan enjoys serving the diverse population of South Florida, providing evidence-based, culturally competent and patient-centered care.

Dr. Morgan is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
