Opal P. Hamilton, APRN 

Opal P. Hamilton is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner within the Division of Neurology, part of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Neuroscience Institute. She holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and nursing. Ms. Hamilton earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Albama. Her bachelor’s degree in nursing was completed at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Ms. Hamilton then pursued a master’s degree in nursing with specialization in advanced child health nursing at Florida International University in Miami. Her clinical interests include autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and seizures. 

She obtained her board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. 

Ms. Hamilton is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
