Gisela Moreira Eyng, MD

Dr. Gisela Moreira Eyng earned her medical degree from the Faculdade Universidade Regional de Blumenau in Brazil. Dr. Moreira Eyng completed a residency in pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, followed by a fellowship in child neurology at the University of Chicago in Illinois. She then pursued advanced training with a fellowship in epilepsy with a pediatric focus at the same institution. Her clinical interests include drug-resistant epilepsy, neurogenetics and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Dr. Moreira Eyng is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and epilepsy. She is a member of the American Epilepsy Society.
