Fetal and Pediatric Cardiologist

Dr. Donna K. Rhoden is a fetal and pediatric cardiologist with the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Heart Institute. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Rhoden then completed a residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the same institution. Dr. Rhoden’s clinical interests include congenital heart disease (all ages), prenatal cardiology including consultation and echocardiography, chest pain, heart murmur, arrhythmia, fainting, medication and sports clearance.

Dr. Rhoden also serves as an affiliate faculty member for Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine and Nova Southeastern University’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine. Prior to joining Nicklaus Children’s, Dr. Rhoden served as medical director of the Broward County Pediatric Cardiology Group for Pediatrix Medical Group and chief of staff for West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton, Florida.  

Dr. Rhoden is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. 

Dr. Rhoden is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
