About the Provider

Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon 
Dr. Andrew Price is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with Nicklaus Children’s Orthopedic, Sports Health and Spine Institute and also provides care as part of the multidisciplinary Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Program. He earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Price completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at New York University Medical Center. He then pursued a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Newington Children’s Hospital in Newington, Connecticut. His clinical interests include treating brachial plexus and peripheral nerve injuries in newborns and sports injuries.
 
Dr. Price is board certified in orthopedic surgery. He is a fellow of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, Pediatric Orthopedic Club of New York, as well as a member of the American Society of Peripheral Nerve. Dr. Price has served as president of the Pediatric Club of New York and as an editorial board member of the Journal of Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury. He also is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics. Dr. Price has authored or co-authored more than three dozen articles for various scientific journals and has presented at regional and national medical and scientific meetings on subjects ranging from treatments for brachial plexus birth injuries to sports injury prevention.
 
Dr. Price is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
 
As one of the largest and most comprehensive pediatric orthopedic practices in Florida, the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Orthopedic, Sports Health and Spine Institute skillfully provides state-of-the-art and compassionate care for musculoskeletal conditions in children and teens. With the assistance of a dedicated support staff, our pediatric orthopedic surgeons perform over 1,500 surgical procedures each year. The institute also conducts an additional 34,000 outpatient visits annually, including the management of more than 6,000 fracture cases and is world-renowned for its spinal surgery program.
